Four Seasons FAN Club
(Friends And Neighbors)

On a pleasant spring day, a group of ladies enjoyed fruit, shrimp, desserts, tea, and wine in Diane Wilkes’ beautiful garden...and decided this should be done every month!  Since that first planning meeting, the Four Seasons’ Womens’ Club meets at 7pm, the second Tuesday of every month.  Members enjoy fun and fellowship as we get to know more neighbors, learn about different topics, organize service projects for the neighborhood, and making December holiday decorations for mailboxes.

Common topics of interest were determined in a comprehensive survey and are quite varied from book and recipe exchanges to how to become a registered Backyard Habitat to wine tastings and Sip and Strokes outings.  Service projects championed by the Womens’ Club include Neighbor Helping Neighbor, a network of volunteers who will assist where and when needed with a ride to the doctor, running an errand, preparing a meal—helping out a neighbor with an unexpected need.  Future service projects discussed include participating in the “adopt a road” program, placing flags at each mailbox for special holidays, and more.

Members graciously take turns offering to host meetings in their homes while other members help with refreshments.  The $25 annual dues provide the means for service projects.  And the support for the Club is from the great heart and friendships of Four Seasons!
